Finding the Gold

Realistic enthusiasm

As much as we are excited beyond words about the seemingly unending opportunities for enhancing urban and suburban living through the deployment of VeloParc™ with its stimulus to alternative personal (i.e. bicycle) transportation, we are very much aware of strained municipal budgets and much warranted carefulness when it comes to investing precious public funds in visionary but yet unproven projects.

When money is tight, new and innovative ways of funding desired public infrastructure have to be explored and developed. We believe that the VeloParc™ Universe ought to financially support itself and generate the necessary cash-flow and financial results to sustain long-term growth on an increasingly expansive scale.

Bicycle parking must be FREE for the bicyclist.

There, we said it. Not just free, it must be available at every convenient destination in sufficient capacity to satisfy peak demands and more. Only then will we be able to attract the undecided and the sceptics. We want the bicyclist to feel good and taken care of while they are using the VeloParc™ parking modules. Could there be a fringe benefit to that goal? Absolutely.

The warm and fuzzy gold

Getting a constant flow of a predictable target audience repeatedly up-close to a structure under ones control or influence has undeniable commercial value for advertising and promotional purposes. We propose to establish a well structured sponsoring and advertising program which allows us to utilize the positive emotional association which VeloParc™ will instill in users and the general public.

Quality control and stringent guidelines for the selection of suitable sponsors will guarantee that the positive image we are striving for will be underlined and fortified by the advertising displays. Frequent updates and VeloParc™ in-house production and maintenance of the poster will keep the facilities alive and tidy.

Sponsor programs will focus on long-term business relationships with charter sponsors adopting specific localities in the planning and construction phase in exchange for a continuous advertising presence. Advertising spaces which become vacant after the initial charter sponsor phase will be offered for lease on the open market.
